Live an ANTI-AGING lifestyle & restore your youth. Outward appearances are transformed with consuming goodness.
Sicko

In February 2022, I became very sick. After 7 months of medical tests and ruling out everything from IBS to cancer, it was eColi that the doctors had missed at the very beginning. My organs were barely hanging on, I could't eat anything, and I was alone. My body was a mess and so was my bathroom. TMI? Well, most people may not have survived. It attacked my heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas and intestines. Constant low grade fevers, extreme abdominal pain and dehydration plagued me for 7 months while doctors bounced me around.
Once I switched doctors in August 2022, the right tests were ran and a couple weeks of antibiotics did the trick. I could finally leave my bathroom and start recovering. Little did I know the worst was yet to come.
As if my health wasn't the biggest issue, I was attacked on all fronts. My then-boyfriend sued me for my house, then took my dogs and my Bentley. My rich friends turned their backs once I wasn't a member at their country clubs anymore and couldn't drink their wine. My colleagues were annoyed with me, I was thousands of miles from my Midwest family, and I was forced to leave my home all while on death's doorstep.
It was only by my faith in God and the healing power of natural remedies that I beat death and the medically-induced anorexia that plagued me for over 2 years. Eventually the lawsuit settled, I changed jobs, changed houses and totally reset my values and boundaries to start loving myself.
I weighed 98 lbs and my heart muscle, my body muscles and my intestines had all atrophied. I could barely walk up the stairs or drive my car. My bone mass had deteriorated, I was peeing blood, and my ligaments had shortened to the point of pulling on my weaken bones so hard my bones almost cracked. I was starving from unwanted anorexia living on chicken, carrots, broth and rice. I had been through 4 surgeries, daily physical therapy, breathing in hyperbaric chambers, weekly nutrient IV's, and tons of medical tests. I was alone, and crying out to God in pain, in fear, in bitterness, in anger, and in my bed.
My friends had abandoned me, my millionaire boyfriend had cheated on me, my dogs had been taken from me, my forever home was gone and my attorney fees rivaled my medical bills. This was when I realized my lifestyle of overconsumption was killing me. I didn't need another Bentley, I didn't want more empty friends and I was done drinking red wine. I only wanted goodness. I had consumed what this world gave me and it was not good. I choose, on my bed of despair, to only consume goodness from here on out. Now, I am happier and healthier than I've ever been.
Our Consumption Culture
We live in a consumption culture and we consume all day (NIH). The act of buying, using, and consuming goods and services is so pervasive that it permeates nearly every aspect of our daily lives, even when we aren't actively thinking about it.
What's consuming you? What goes in, must come out. It’s the natural consequences of our actions. Where the "input" is a decision and a choice, and the "output" is the resulting effect. Garbage in, garbage out (GIGO)! You are what you eat (Twins Experiment). You reap what you sow (Gal. 6:7). Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil (Three Wise Monkeys). Like attracts like (Law of Attraction)
It's a lifestyle! Everyday, God gives us freewill to choose what we want to consume - garbage or goodness. Everyday, we get to choose to consume truth or lies, right or wrong, evil or good, chaos or peace. We choose our "consumption" lifestyle.
Good Fruit
We are known by our fruit Matt. 7:20. We can't hide our fruit. It's low hanging. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit Matt. 7:18. Our fruit is manifested by our WORDS. Unlike an apple tree that can't choose where it gets planted, we have free will to choose. Consciously or unconsciously - you choose to "make" your tree, your life and your words, good by what you consume.
When we are surrounded by an orchard of people who engage in garbage behaviors, garbage can start to seem like the "normal" thing to do. When garbage seems "normal" it makes it even easier to choose garbage. The bad habits, negative attitudes, and fearful WORDS of a bad orchard of friends can rub off on you, leading to changes in your own behavior like substance abuse, dishonesty, bullying, disrespectful behavior, and speaking WORDS of death.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit Prov 18:22. While consuming bad things, how can you speak or produce anything good? You can’t! And, you can't hide it because your mouth will speak what you have filled your heart with, for out of an abundance of the heart your mouth will speak Matt. 12:34. Consuming goodness brings good things out of the goodness you've consumed: good treasures, good words, good actions, good deeds Luke 6:45.
Heal Yourself
You can only heal yourself by consuming good fruit, not bitter fruit. You are what you feed on, you reap what you sow, and what goes in must come out. When you feed on garbage like hate, bitterness and unforgiveness, garbage will make your body physically sick.
I was so angry after my then-boyfriend cheated on me then sued me, my dogs were taken from me, and my rich "friends" didn't want to be friends once I wasn't "rich" anymore that I replayed my bitterness over and over in my head. Feeding on that bitterness, anger and resentment gave me the inertia to fight bitter battles. Hate fueled my bitter words making me more hateful towards myself and others instead of letting go and letting God fight my battles.
God tells us that by our words we will be justified, and by our words we will be condemned Matt. 12:33-37. Don't condemn yourself anymore. Stop making yourself sick. Forgive the people who were used to hurt you. Let go of the anger, bitterness and unforgiveness that poisons you. Trust that God will vindicate you. Let go, and start healing your heart and your body with good words and good thoughts.
Outward appearances are transformed by goodness. Living a lifestyle of consuming goodness and speaking goodness will restore your mind, body and spirit. Listen to yourself! Let nothing negative come out of your mouth, then your body will start to heal. Force your mind out of hateful spirals and force it to align to goodness.
Following God's will is easier than following our own will, "for you cannot make even one hair white or black" Matt. 5:36. God controls something as simple as our hair color yet also controls the whole universe. Yes, everything! Let go and let God lead us through the story He already wrote for us in His Book of Life Ps. 139:16.
Restore Your Youth

Consume God's goodness, God's Words, God's Love and God's peace everyday to stay youthful, like Lady Lou (above). God promises that if you choose to LOVE Him with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might, your youth will be renewed like the eagle's Ps. 103:5. Trust God, know God, and love God with all your hearts to have amazing strength Is. 40:31.
Unsettle yourself from your familiar bitter torments, negative outlooks, and sour words. Find one thing to be happy for. Find one verse in the Bible and repeat it all day. Find one thing to be grateful for because it's all around you. If your look for goodness, for God, you will find it.
